AE1 Active on uusi, upea-ääninen 2-tie jalustakautin sisäänrakennetulla Class A/B -vahvistimella ja aktiivijakosuotimella. Kaiuttimen bassoelementit ovat alumiinikartioita, keraamisella pinnoitteella. Tuloksena erinomainen kontrolli ja alas ulottuva, virheetön bassotoisto. AE1 Active-kaiuttimen korkeista äänistä huolehtii ainutlaatuinen AE:n suunnittelema alumiininen diskantti, joka integroituu keskialueeseen virheettömästi.
Kaiuttimessa on ääntä leventävä WDT (Wide Dispersion Technology) -tekniikka, jolla huoneeseen saadaan laaja ja tasainen äänikuva.
